We are all different. You have to take it into account when building a strong team. There are 3 fundamentals that you have to create: 1) shared values, 2) a common goal and 3) mutual trust. Trust is born from getting to know your team mates: we don’t trust people we don’t know. The best tool for trust is team building. The best form of team building is a corporate retreat – a chance to get the team out of the office, to a different setting, to be lead by a different person (coach), to get everyone engaged in a different-perspective activities, to share a good meal and a good laugh, to spend a different day, to forget about work for a day.
We had fantastic results from our corporate retreat last year. This year we are a bigger team. And thanks to our new retreat, we are a better team.
